🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Wednesday’s Scottish football gossip – Arsenal test Rangers’ resolve, Saracchi attracts new suitors, Shinnie praised, and St Johnstone bounce straight back.

🔵 Arsenal prepare huge bid for Rangers defender Emmanuel Fernandez. Rangers are bracing for major interest, with the 49ers set to demand a club‑record £25m fee, and the Gunners reportedly willing to go as high as £35m. Fernandez has become a cornerstone under Rohl and is now one of the most valuable players in Scotland. If the offer lands, Rangers could fund an entire rebuild.

🔵 Pierce Charles urged as Rangers’ next big signing. Gareth McAuley wants Rangers to move for Northern Ireland No.1 Pierce Charles. The twenty year old is leaving Sheffield Wednesday and previously worked with Rohl. McAuley says Charles will reach the top level and could become a massive profit machine for Rangers.

🟡 Caroline Weir wins SWFA Women’s International Player of the Year. The Real Madrid star becomes a three‑time winner after a season where she became the club’s all‑time top scorer and Scotland captain. A Ballon d’Or nominee and now another trophy for the shelf.

🍀 Marcelo Saracchi linked with Racing Club as Celtic talks stall. Saracchi has become a fan favourite, but Celtic have no option to buy and negotiations have gone quiet. Racing Club, led by Diego Milito, are now circling as they prepare to replace Gabriel Rojas. Celtic risk losing a player supporters desperately want to keep.

🟢 Scott Brown reveals he turned down a Premiership job while at Ayr. Brown says he and Steven Whittaker rejected a top‑flight offer out of loyalty, even though the club they’d have joined were likely to be relegated.

🔵 Rangers eye bargain move for Leeds striker Joe Gelhardt. Gelhardt has a year left on his deal and could be available for around £5m. Joel Piroe is also on the radar, and Rangers remain in the race for Kilmarnock’s David Watson. Champions League qualification could decide everything.
